Welcome to the Institute for Lean Construction Excellence (ILCE)

We are a non-profit company established in November 2008 and registered u/s 12AA of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

Premier Institute in India for Lean Construction, its propagation and its application.

Lean Construction focuses on improvement of performance of the construction industry and its individual projects. The inefficiency in the construction industry and wastage is reckoned, as 50-60% abroad, and definitely more so in India.

FT Student wins Best Paper Award at ILCC 2019

Jay Shah (FT PG '17) won the Best Paper Award for his paper titled ‘Matrix of Measure - Assessing Last Planner System Effectiveness’ during the valedictory session at the Indian Lean Construction Conference (ILCC) 2019. The conference, organized in Pune between 14-16 Nov, aimed to popularize the concepts of lean construction in India. The paper received appreciation for showcasing a symbiotic relationship between industry and academia.
