The Buildings & Factories vertical (B&F IC) is involved in Engineering, Procurement and Construction
(EPC) of all types of commercial, residential buildings, public spaces, airports, hospitals and factories.
After several years of experience across numerous departments, Mr. Sreechand, in his current
position, is responsible for the following functions in B&F IC vertical.

• Strategy & Planning – Strategy & Competitor analysis, Coordinating Lakshya & Perspective Plan
Programs, Strategic Initiatives implementation.
• Project Planning- Cost & Schedule Audits and monitoring for projects.
• Systems & Processes – Constant Diagnosis & improvement of existing systems & processes in the
IC.
• Digital Initiatives – Developing & implementing innovative digital solutions through IoT, mobile
apps, Data Integration & Analytics.
• IT & Information systems – Hardware, software & IT support to the IC.
• Corporate Sustainability, Lean Implementation and Resources Management

He holds over 29 years of association with L&T having joined as a Post Graduate Engineer Trainee in 1996
after obtaining a Master of Technology in Structural Engineering from National Institute of Technology,
Calicut, and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University. He has also
completed a Post Graduate Executive Management Programme (PGEMP) from S.P Jain Institute of
Management & Research, Mumbai. He has a wide spectrum of experience covering Design, Operations,
Business Unit (BU), Project Controls, EdTech, Supply Chain Management, Project Planning and Monitoring. He has served the organization in different international projects as well.
